What’s been going on there?
First color file (OBJ/3MF) loading and saving added to Iris
Iris, our multi-color slicer with support for 1024 painted colors at the same time, now finally can load vertex-colored OBJ files, and colored 3MF files. And store them back in the Iris-specific 3MF format. You can ofcourse still load the old PrusaSlicer 3MF files and Bambu 3MF is also supported, or even use STL files to start with, but none of them actually store the actual color to the file, just the painting with extruder number links. Iris now is really the first of it’s kind with full color file support.
