Iris is our specifically tailored 3D slicer to instantly load up a fully colored 3D model, set it up, perfect the coloring to your printer, and slice it using the most neat, advanced features, like clustering layers, mixing optimization and purge minimizing. Iris features real fully purge-free printing and can even print without supports! (with a Yaint sub, see below).
Iris supports any 3D printer and adds lots of extra unique features making printing more sustainable; for all ones using mixing hotends, multi-extruders, IDEX printers, toolchangers and helps ‘manual’ tool changers or one-material users.

Iris loads colored files (3MF and OBJ) and instantly sets up your print with the best similar colors it can print so it will look as good as possible
Iris supports up to 4096 colors per print, greatly expanding the limited 16 colors others (Orca/Cura/Prusa) support
Uses an advanced color picker, with smart color palette helper and fully supports mixing extruders with up to 6 colors with automatic color mixing gradient calculation
Using smart techniques Iris minimizes tool changes (layer clustering) and no more needs purging into a wipe tower, but uses support or infill, gone with material waste
Iris has a built-in app connector that automatically detects if Yaint, the non-planar printing addon, is installed on your system and let’s you use it with just one click!

For minimizing support SuperIris uses arc overhangs to print bridges better and organic supports that use less material
SuperIris further contains a lot of print improving features like bricked perimeters and interlocked infill (make print stronger) and smart bridging (optimizing angle and strategy)
SuperIris also offers all native SuperSlicer features like precise settings, built-in calibration tools and error-free slicing.

Yaint

3D printing made sustainable

Yaint is a tool that will greatly advance your 3D printing results without needing any upgrades to your printer, or at most a simple nozzle swap.
Yaint uses non-planar path generation to make your prints follow dynamic layers instead of static, flat layers. It makes your prints better in almost every aspect. And with Yaint it is all integrated into the slicing procedure, no seperate programs to run and no manual steps to follow.

Yaint works with any 3D model you load into Iris slicer; STEP, STL, OBJ and 3MF
Can be used on any 3D printer, although a 45° compatible tool head is advised for full support-free printing (info)
Gives your prints both:
– smooth top layers on all levels
– fully support-free printing and
– great strength optimization (1.5-2.5x on layered, weakest orientation(Z))
Yaint is a monthly-cup-of-coffee supported app costing only $2/m
There are a few addons available (coming soon) for Yaint: the Pro Addon; adding topology optimization and precise strength analysis ($5/m), the Smarti Addon; adding smart AI generative tools ($4/m) and the Multi Addon; adding tool clustering, filaments DB import and filament spool tracking ($4/m) are available.
