Iris is a PrusaSlicer-based application, it’s our specially tailored 3D slicer to instantly load up a colored 3D models, set up and perfect the coloring, and slice it using the most neat, advanced features you can find for multi-material printing. It features fully purge-free printing and can even print without supports!
Iris also supports any 3D printer; ones using mixing hotends, multi-extruders, IDEX printers, toolchangers and the ‘manual’ tool changers.

Iris loads colored files (3MF and OBJ) and instantly sets up your print with the best similar colors it can print so it will look as good as possible

Iris supports up to 4096 colors per print, greatly expanding the 16 colors others support

Using smart techniques Iris minimizes tool changes (color clustering) and no more needs purging into a wipe tower, gone with material waste

For minimizing support Iris uses arc overhangs to print bridges better and organic supports that use less material

Iris has a built-in connector that automatically detects if Yaint, the non-planar addon, is installed and let’s you use it with just one click!

Yaint is a tool that will greatly advance your 3D printing results without needing any upgrades to your printer, or at most a simple nozzle swap.
Yaint uses non-planar path generation to make your prints follow dynamic layers instead of static, flat layers. It makes your prints better in almost every aspect. And with Yaint it is all integrated into the slicing procedure, no seperate programs to run and no manual steps to follow.

Yaint works with any 3D model you load into Iris slicer; STEP, STL, OBJ and 3MF

Can be used on any 3D printer, although a 45° compatible tool head is advised for full support-free printing (info)

Gives your prints both:
– smooth top layers on all levels
– fully support-free printing and
– great strength optimization (1.5-2.5x on layered, weakest orientation(Z))

Yaint is a monthly-cup-of-coffee based app paid with $2/m

There are a few addons available (soon) for Yaint: the Opti Addon; adding topology optimization and precise strength analysis ($5/m), the Smarti Addon; adding smart AI generative tools ($4/m) and the Multi Addon; adding tool clustering, filaments DB import and filament spool tracking ($3/m) are available.
